I wouldn't of come here just by the looks of it, but the reviews on Yelp were pretty good so my friend (granted he was a bit skeptical and reluctant to go in) and I decided to come here and give it a try.
A lot of restaurants try to copy this style of place, but Jack's Family Kitchen is an authentic diner. The waitress's are pretty friendly, and the food ( I got a country fried steak, with grits and biscuits for $ 7.95) taste like good, authentic home style cooking.
If you just want good food, without all of the frills and thrills of a place like Denny's or IHOP, then this is the place to hit up.
