Azuma is not only the best Japanese Restaurant in So. Cal, it's one of my favorite restaurants ever. It's a hole in the wall place, and the service is wonderful.
The prices are decent ($10-$16), but the portions are huge, and the quality is unmatched.
Not only do they have good katsu good sashimi,and good noodles, their beef teriyaki is legendary. This is probably some of the most tender meat you will ever try. The beef is nice and charred, while still retaining its juiciness.
I don't like that many Japanese places....but Azuma is a far different place...it's simply the best....
