Be prepared to go into food coma after this place.
This place is
Cash only, but relatively cheap (2 item combo for around $8, with pancit
$9) The BBQ is amazing, and the portion size is extremely generous.
Also recommended is the Pork/chicken adobo, beef steak, and bamboo shoots, which is the weird pink thing.
The
atmosphere is well, don't expect too much. Its not an ambiance
place...you come here simply for food. There's seating..but if you go on
weekends for lunch the line is kind of long.
Its death by food; yet awesome.

Karihan Filipino Food
Ahh...Cheap, filling Filipino food....
Karihan is another place to go for panda express style filipino food. Although the selection is not as great as Tita's or Conching, the taste of the food is good. The line is not nearly as crazy as Tita's so you can always get your food as soon as you arrive.
Being new at Filipino food, the servers were really great explaining each exotic item one by one. The Kare Kare (meat with peanut butter sauce) was very good (something that Tita's does not have!).
Although most of the time now we head to Tita's or Conching I'll still head back on occasion to eat at this place.

Tokachiya
Tucked away in the Shirokiya plaza at Ala Moana Mall, Tokachiya gives
you the option of Hokkaido style Ramen amongst a maze of tempura and
sushi.
The ramen was good..however I thought the broth could be much more creamy (sorry not as creamy as the ones in LA area). The rice and gioza was decent too...but it feels like the place is just lacking that extra spice or something special. It felt like a normal ramen place.
For the price, and location it was decent. Seating can be cruddy though, so be prepared to do some recon..especially on weekends.
All in all it was okay...but nothing special...would go if I felt like ramen at the mall.
