Sushi Samba (Las Vegas)

A Japanese Brazilian Fusion Restaurant

This is a good place to show off to a date or people from another country, but other than that, it just becomes another fancy restaurant in Las Vegas. The service is excellent, but the I think the concept of this restaurant doesn't really attract me. There was nothing really special, it just seemed like a Brazilian BBQ restaurant with sushi.

The meats are really good, we had the 5 meat Churrasco ($46) and some Kobe beef sashmi ($12 per piece!). The Kobe beef sashmi is grilled on a cooking rock.

The selection of oysters was not that many, but the ones that did carry : Malpeque and Blue Point ($3-$4) were decent.

Overall Sushi Samba is an very okay restaurant. It is quite expensive, although very exquisite. I can now say I have been here, but there are other places to try.

Holsteins Shakes and Buns (Las Vegas)

Burgers and shakes...yum!

Came here for lunch with some friends from China. They wanted to try some "American food" so we brought them here to check it out.

This place has some awesome burgers and shakes. They are a bit pricey though. The shakes are good tasting and a bit creative, although at $11 dollars, are a bit on the expensive side.

Had the drunken money ( Reeses pieces and bananas), and the cereal bowl (vanilla with pieces of cereal)

The burgers are very tender, and although I only had the "Rising sun" (kobe beef, with spices and avocado) ($16.5), the other burgers looked very good too.

Very good food at a higher price, but if you're in Las Vegas everything is going to cost more!

The Apple Pan

Old fashion Burgers at an old fashion place.

Apple Pan has some pretty kick ass burgers. I got the original steak burger with double cheese.  Everything is fresh, the burgers come out really quickly, the meat is really juicy and goes very good with the cheese.

The kitchen is basically at the middle of the restaurant. There are stools with a large connecting bench all around ( which leads to lines).

There was only one let down with this place, that being the price. For ($6.75), you got a great steak burger ( But for $2.75 you can get a double double at in n' out!)

But all and all I would come back to try the deserts, and feel like I was back in the good ole' days.

Lamppost Pizza

Pizza loaded with toppings?..Lets Go!

The pizza chain is a little less known than Pizza Hut and Papa John's, but the quality of pizza is way above the average pizza.

I've only had the linebacker pizza (it has all, I mean ALL the MEATS). The pizza has a crispy crust, and isn't too greasy.

Inside there is a really relaxed environment with lots of TV's and sports memorabilia hanging from the wall.

It is a bit pricey ( $20 for a large), but if you feel like splurging than go try it out!
