Cool, mom and pop-ish "piroshky", (which is like a danish, or donut) shop down by Pike's Place.
They have sweet ones and savory ones, and each one is in the $3-$5 dollar range.
The lines are long, and they do sell out of certain prioshkys, so I would go early to get your pick of the litter.
There's lots of food to try, l but I think even the locals approve of this one.
