Monsoon doesn't seem like a Indian restaurant. There's neon lighting, and it looks like a cool bar or night club. That being said, the restaurant caters towards a more western audience.
Some of the meat curries were good, but the Kolhapuri tasted like spicy tomato sauce with lamb (not recommended). The vegetarian curries were great however such as the Chana Palak (recommended). The prices are a bit high for entrees ($15-$20)
Has a decent Indian beer selection, and great location if you're staying in the Hampton area.
