Barney's Beanery is a place if you're in Santa Monica and hungry...and don't exactly want to go to McDonalds...and don't want to go to a place that is $$$ or $$$$.
Food-wise...it has a lot of chile..and a lot of sandwiches...all are nothing special.
Very cool sports bar though ...while it has a good selection of beer..it can get pricey if you're trying to go to the dark side.
This is place is de facto place to go to when there is " where do you want to go eat" gridlock amongst your friends.
